melaniejane represents The Holiday Music Motel in this winner takes all in this showdown where four hotels compete to take home $25,000. The four owners will spend the night in each others' hotels and award points for their experience, and the hotel with the most points wins.

melaniejane discusses the motel phenomenon of the 40s/50's and the history of The Holiday Music Motel within that movement. Topics will include architectural design, the 2008 "retro-vation," environmentally friendly focus, community involvement/activism and its development into the Holiday "Music" Motel, a fully operational lodging establishment that also provides a slew of services to the music community from song-writer retreats ('Steel Bridge Songfest,' 'Dark Songs' and 'Love On Holiday') to full recording sessions, open mics, house concerts and an internet radio station ('Steel Bridge Radio') that exclusively broadcasts the music written and recorded at the motel.
